On and On is the brainchild of Emily Shaw, who has been making things out of other things for twenty or so years. She found herself in need of slippers to cradle and cushion her feet, so using her formal design background and a pair of jeans that had an unfortunate encounter with some nail polish, she sewed a pair. Eight samples later, she had perfected the pattern, which she then passed along to a Peruvian factory willing to work with an unconventional material—deconstructed denim pants.
At On and On, sustainability is not just a matter of using recycled materials, but of making products that withstand the test of time and trend. We believe anything worth making is worth making well, helping precious resources live On and On (and on and on and on….).
